If you really ignore what is an AST,
have a look at the tutorial
that, although outdated, still provides the basic concepts.

Normal users get a printed copy of ./cast.desc
that is as an annotated list of the functions provided.

Then exercise the example	~/exs/drast.c

As soon as I get a bit of time,
